Always had a thing about them Adam,
...ever since I was a wee lad, I still curse myself though because I decided to 'see how they worked'
by taking apart my dads beutiful zenith (I think I was about 8 at the time)...of course, I could not get it back together
and totally destroyed it :-(

Started collecting them a few years back, pocket watches initially then moved to wrist ones...
I actually prefer the mechanics and inner workings to the bit that tells the time, that is more incidental to me...
ok some have nice hands, or special dial, nice colours etc...which are attractive, but I like to think about what goes on inside
that tiny case...right off to see my shrink, back soon

Enz, I have only just discovered watches, tried on a Panerai last week, think I may treat myself after Xmas. Could be the start of a collection. Oh and by the way I love a nice wooden box as well.

I do actually have a mont blanc pen got it for Xmas a few years back about £150 not very comfortable to write with!

Really like panerai, which model did you try on...if you don't mind me asking...this is one of my favorites...
