Strange Radio Waves

Well what a week??
Wednesday we decided to take our 3200AC out for a run to North Yorkshire, Masham to be precise, near the Black Sheep Brewery. We arrived around lunchtime and stopped at this pub/hotel in the centre of town. Had a great lunch and a small amount of wet stuff, then walked in to town and did a bit of shopping, local sausage, pork scratchings, cheese, chocolate etc., then walked back to the car. Press the button and she opened up, key in ignition, cranked the engine and nothing, no firing up??? Tried several times and no joy, very embarrasing. Went back in the pub for a pint, as you do when all else fails, gave it half an hour and tried again, nothing. Then I could not lock it, then it locked, unlocked but the alarm, or immobiliser would not come off. I finally switched off the juice and rang the AA who arrived around 2.5 hours later, a few more beers then?? AA man tried all sorts and he was an Italian car enthusiast, rebuilding a Fiat 500, but even then she would not start. Called a recovery truck which would not arrive for 90 minutes, a few more beers then as I was not driving anymore. Truck arrived, loaded her up with help from the pub regulars and off we went at 56mph heading south. We finally got home at around 11.30am and the car was dropped on the drive. Still would not start, even with the red key. Next morning the AA ran to say they were on the way back with a truck, so just in case I tried again to start her, same nothing. She was loaded up and then taken to Autoshield Manchester. A couple of hours later, Russel rang me from Autoshield, he said what was wrong with the car then, I told him. 5 minutes later he rang back, he said "I unlocked the car fine with the key, locked it again and unlocked it again, all fine, I jumped in, key in ignition and she fired up first time and ran as sweet as a nut, so what was the problem"??
I thought he was winding me up at first, but no, she was back to normal as if nothing had happened!!!!!

Now the old film "Outer Limits" sprung to mind and other such alien type stuff, but both Russell and the AA, told me that this has happened before at certain locations and it seems it is something to do with the radio waves in that particular area, that more or less block the codes from the key to the car????

I think I had a CD on, if I remember it was SPACE by Magic Fly, maybe that attracted the aliens to beam in on the car and they were trying to talk to her????? OH and German cars are not sophisticated enough for extraterrestial communication!!!!
