I’ve got a smart phone, new tv is now a smart tv, keep getting badgered to get a smart meter, now there’s even a smart wife! Not sure I’d want one of those.

And I think I’d get a 458, or an MC20.
A smart wife would be terrible. Wife, please put out the bins. Wife, please remind me to buy flowers for my wife after coming home smelling of perfume and with body glitter on my nose. etc. Bedlam!

I cant complain as she is pretty understanding of my obsession with cars, especially for a French person!
It's been well documented on here that the French and cars are best kept far apart. See the 'A few of us can't abide bloody French cars' thread for reference.

You've done well! My wife is not French and sees cars as having tolerable utility value at best.

458 Spider definitely the best car, IMO (as I have one). The later 488 is depreciating faster. The 458 naturally aspirated V8 engine is the best (and last) Ferrari ever made. They won a lot of awards for it. They’re also very reliable cars.

The 458 is a beautiful car and the NA engine helps. I would lean toward the spider if it had glass engine cover. Let's see how I get on this weekend.
I looked at pic sent to me after getting the Strad ceramic coated and with my other toys whether I should stick to just what I have or swap one of the 911 instead?

Do you need 2 versions of the 4 wheel drive 997? Probably not, so perhaps one of those could go. Maybe release the V8 Vantage also, and keep the Strad instead.
Five BMW's is quite a lot also...

I think I'd sell the Aston, one of the 911's and a BMW or two, but keep the Strad and add in a 458 or Roma.

I would not sell or trade this beauty in such colour combination.

Have sold loads of Alpinas, probably the best build manufacturer on Planet Earth. The factory at Buchloe resembles a kitchen, its so clean. But............. this car at 159K will lose approximately 30K per annum in depreciation. Best buy in 5 years time!
Agree, went there when I had a B5

Given you’ve got a mid engined supercar already in the Gallardo, scratching the V12 itch might be more interesting. I’d definitely trade in the 911 and keep that beautiful Blu Inchiostro Strad. You’ll never find another - plenty of 911’s around. I saw the most beautiful Rosso Mugello F12 last week (deeper red, a bit like Alfa Red). And I’ve just experienced the awesome power and sound of that V12. Nothing quite like it. The F12 has twice the power per ton as the 997.

I will most likely px/sell the Vantage as I think I should have really got the 4.7 model. The E92 M3 is also going as it doesnt really do it for me. I need to figure out which of the 911 to let go. Do most 911 Turbos end up being a classic?
I need to check Roma in person, it’s not one I considered before.

Swapping a couple of cars for something more special may even work out to be better financially!

Personally I’d keep the turbo over the GTS. Very few cars of that age can beat it, and arguably none can in the wet.
And as the GTS is still flavour of the month, you may even get better money for that one currently.

I am still wrestling with what I would own if I moved from the Strad, and all options would involve me adding £100k to the pot……… which is a pretty big jump up. Not sure even man maths will get me there.
Vanquish, Sam. 8-speed S, with or without a roof. Suit you down the ground. Get over to Hatfirld and try one on for size. I think you'd gel.
