For all those with older or Bose systems I thought I would give this a go. Coral Vision Carplay off ebay. I bought the wired version so it charges the phone at the same time and it is also super quick to boot up. There is a wireless version too with a reversing camera. Final position undecided and may need a new bracket. I dont want it hanging off the window so wont be using the supplied and I will hard wire it too at some point. First impressions are good. I sm using the fm transmitter as I do not have a 3.5mm jack. The sound is clear and if you are streaming music and have waze on, the directions cut in. Not tried the phone mic out yet but not too worried if it is poor. It has a 7" screen so not as big as it looks in the pics.
