Spare wheel?

Hi all, what's the general concensus on using a rear wheel on the front as a get you home measure?

I was thinking that also, thanks Mike. I purchased another one with the idea of putting it on and getting the wheels refurbed one at a time.

Whack it up on axle stands and get them done all at the same time, including your 'spare'.
That way all will be the same colour shade, including the 'spare' should your curb a rear wheel.

Mike is right, don't risk refurbing one at a time, the colour match will be out most likely.I wouldn't put a rear wheel on the front, tracking, rubbing and suspenasioin issues beckon and make it dangerous.

Hadn't considered that the matching might not be spot on, I think your right get them all done together.
