But I am not going to offer mine at bargain banger prices knowing fully well how good it is and how it would do well to be passed on to a Maserati enthusiast.
Your car is identical to mine!I'm advertising my car too (very similar to your) as i'm in the process of moving houses and thought all spare liquidity would be useful to have. But I completely agree with you. In the end if you need to "force" a sale it is something to regret later when the dust settles.

It's the best colour on a QP.
The sad part is most interested parties tend to be car dealers who then price up the car and people go and buy from them reading autotrader reviews how good these traders are selling Toyota Yaris and VW Golf. These dealers make a profit and pass on a car they have had no input in maintaining, have no knowledge of its persisting issues or how well or badly the previous owner kept it. I don't begrudge them at all though.
I really wish the interested buyers were more open to communicate, test drive and purchase directly from an enthusiastic owner. And both parties would gain.
Our forum provides a fantastic gateway for all to research the cars, meet their owners and assess the history before buying.
I believe it is better way of buying in to Maserati of this age and budget. All subject to a good inspection of course.
Good luck with the sale and the house move.
So tempting, sell the range rover and buy this, only issue is to import to Ireland and avoid VRT I have had to own for 6 months or more.
A few months closer to Atom delivery! Torture eh.Nudge Nudge
My car / van Nissan Elgrand arrived today.
It is quite BIG although still about half a meter shorter than the QP! It has a quite high seating position and felt like I was on top of a doube decker bus when I jumped in to it directly after driving the QP. Has lots of toys and kids love the revolving seats. And a 3.5 V6 240 HP engine ( Nissan 350Z one) to move it to 60 in about 7 odd seconds. Does feel fast when pushed but I think thats due to a lot of v6 murmur and the sheer size of it.Also it does have a drink problem pretty much like the QP.
Anyhow. The QP is still for sale but being cared for and driven regularly. I had a week long family break in it last week and it made it all the more special. You get kids and adults alike coming over to chat mostly because they heard it coming long before they saw it.
I would be happy to look at reasonable offers but do urge anyone interested to come over and have a look see.
I think the ice cream one is far better......Fin
A few months closer to Atom delivery! Torture eh.
Hope u manage to hand the masser over to a similar enthusiast.
Not long before you get to experience this!
A lot messier!I think the ice cream one is far better......
That s a nice car indeed, although an being auto its a different spec altogether. The problem with modifications is you never get the money back , the car looks fantastic and the service history adds something but the bottom line is it's a high(in Maserati terms) mileage 15 year old car that needs a 3k clutch and no warranty which is how any potential buyer will look at it.
This is what you're competing with, 31,000 miles 3 years newer , auto gearbox and sold by a franchised lexus dealer with warranty £14,700
Sorry to say it but without a new clutch I doubt you'll get an offer at all , certainly not one you'd consider
