Possibly, I always use super so I don't know how it runs on the cheap stuff. Worth a try.

I didn't reply straight away with this, but I had an experience with mine after owning it for 2 weeks only. I drove it home after buying it and all seemed ok, but then I filled it up at tesco at the poop pump and not at the higher octane one. Carried on home and all ok.
In the morning it started ok but a bit lumpy, and seemed a bit iffy once warm, but I kept on running the fuel down. Upon the next fill up at tesco poopy pump, the problem progressivly got worse.
It was suggested to me to only use V power 99 octane petrol and proceeded to run the tank to halfway, then filled it with V power. The problem suddenly went into reverse and as iv since only used V power, iv never had a sluggish/underpowered/hesitant moment again.

Its worth addressing the petrol factor first. Hope this helps

Not sure whether this will make rhyme or reason but its a fact , a few years back it was mentioned that to use V power actually made the car run better(understandably) and gave more miles per gallon/tankfull and its true , altho obviously dearer i get another 30 miles per tankfull on like for like driving than i do using standard economy fuel , rare occasion i get caught out and have no option than to use the standard stuff , its always noticable

I totally agree, I always try to use such as Shell V-Power, or at least a Super fuel. If I am not sure of the quality, or I have no option but to buy the cheap stuff, I keep a bottle of Redex in the car and whack a chunk of that in, which helps. You have a Supercar, so give it the best you can as often as you can, it works. Supermarket fuels can have allsorts in them and for an ordinary car that does not matter much, but Maserati's are high breds and they need caviar...!!!
