Having BT fibre optic and opting to take up their offer of a two free sports channels from August 1st .......I dually phoned up SKY to say I was dumping them, fed up forking out £62 odd quid for the full monty plus HD.......and really only watching a handful of programmes plus the premier league, they'd milked this goose for long enough!!!

They then reduced me to single option package, they then phoned me back 1 month later to "discuss" things......after a 10 minute phonecall I end up with the full monty including HD for £2.50 a month for 6 months......I can live with that!!!!

With all of them Frank, you have to put it in your diary to bully them at the end of each contract, I've just done it with Virgin and got over 1/3 reduction and 60mb broadband upgrade!

done same thing 4 days ago...rang and told them im going to virgin as they are doing 6 months half price and they are matching that with throwing in multi room for free
