(And no I am not associated with Beaulieu, despite the b*ggers using a photo of my car in the above link! :lol2:)

This is a great event for all Alfisti - Beaulieu is the national motor museum and if you haven't seen it (or not been for a while) it's a must. The entry ticket for Simply Alfa Romeo includes entry to all attractions including the Museum, House, Secret Army and TOP GEAR etc. (Unfortunately no Bond in Motion ).
A quick note to our Sports Maserati friends: in previous 'Simply' events if you turned up in an Italian car you have been allowed to pay the reduced entry fees & park in an adjoining area - but please confirm this with Beaulieu before coming down. Beaulieu are always looking for new 'Simply' events - why not a 'Simply Maserati!'

I must admit it was good, missed a photo of the only RZ (black with red leather £37,000 Ono if interested) and several other tasty Alfa's, but when you are with the Kids it is hard to concentrate

Cheers for the compliment.

When I'm down in Bideford next ( born their and parents in Westward Ho) I'll look out for the yellow spider

You are welcome, by the way, your swift editing didn't get in swift enough, I still got the one referring to a cloverleaf! ;) If you are coming this way to see your folks, do give us a shout, I am sure we can come up with a cuppa or two, and you can say hello to Zoe!:)

Cheers for the cuppa offer. Will take you up on that.

As for the cloverleaf, I saw somewhere about a guy in Bideford with a 75 and 164 cloverleaf but realised after posting it was a different forum - it's been a long day and my first full week back in the Uk for around 4 weeks

Cheers Daryl

Hi Daryl,

A 75 and a 164 cloverleaf??? hmmmmmm, I wonder where he is hiding? Mind you, the number of times I venture out on the roads these days is so seldom really. There is a bloke who purportedly has a Zoe yellow Spider like mine in Barnstaple, but I have never seen him. I was muttering about getting another Alfa to the missus the other night, she was not best pleased at the idea I can tell you, went wittering on about what happens when I pop me clogs, she would then have three cars to dispose of, she don't drive see.

It's a bit of a bugger her not driving really, limits the reasons, excuses, one can come up with for acquiring automobilia.............ho-hum.

My Q4 and 90 do seem to run better with a sharper response on Shell V power than anything else - mpg is not something I tend to monitor
