So main dealer always? I’m not so sure that the money when coming to sell will be as much as the money I would save by going to a specialist?Keep it by the book.
You may save a couple of £££ doing it DIY or back-street garage bit you will loose more come selling.
The service book tells you what should be done... but ignore Lamba and carbon canister until they are faulty.
Yes i think that’s the route I will take. Do you mind saying how much on average you spend on servicing on your gransport ?Talk to a few good specialists for advice and then talk to a main dealer that you propose using. That way you can decide whats best for you. Personally, I use a specialist only. But I have a Gransport and its unlikely anyone in our main dealer has ever seen or worked on one.
I dont know where you are based, I use Autoshield Maserati and nobody else. They are in South Manchester - around 5 miles NW of the Airport.
Suffolk/Essex border. I believe Grimauldi autosports are respected specialist for Ferrari Maserati but seem quite ‘toppy’Indeed, let us know where you are and we can suggest a few alternatives.
To be clear, MD or Mark Specialist not Bob's Garage located in a shead neae you, or a mate who once worked in the trade. So main dealer always? I’m not so sure that the money when coming to sell will be as much as the money I would save by going to a specialist?
Yes I don’t intend to be taking my car/car to be to Bob down the road But yes I was more interested in the prices people pay for their servicing on average and over their ownership. To be clear, MD or Mark Specialist not Bob's Garage located in a shead neae you, or a mate who once worked in the trade.
Personally I have used specialists over MDs aa they care more about your car and business than selling you a new car in 3 years time.
Okay I think that would be quite similar to a GTS I’ve heard around 750-1200 for a specialist 2 year/12k service. My 4200s and GS was an average of £1k per service over the last 12 years.
