Service & MOT

Dropping off my car in the morning with Shiltech in Loughbrough for it's annual service 46k and MOT. Hopefully it will all go without any major issues. As I have kept a little cash in reserve if it all goes well I should be able to have a full detail as they have a half price offer on until the end of March. fingers crossed.

dropped off the car today, wait and see what the MOT holds on Monday, the drive to the garage was fun me and mate in a Carrera 4S driving like a pair of kids. He got pulled on the way back for doing 95mph so 3 points for him. Lucky not to lose his licience at one point they clocked us at 126mph but not long enough to be nicked for. Naughty boys, think I need to calm down a little now.

Yes it was stupid but a one off, never done it before had the most fun ever with my oldest friend driving two cars we dreamt of when we were younger, got it out of my system now, back to being Mr sensible.

You have to be careful chaps as i have been banned for speeding and only at 112 on the M5 but when your in court your on the same level as kiddy fiddlers im afraid.
Haveing said that when i was told my speed was 112 i was thanking my guardian angel as i had been a lot faster its just seen as anti social today and as for the fine that hurt.

i dont think i will trust myself the first time i get a decent powered car, especially if it sounds good, i will rev it to death, like a Honda Integra for example.

i got done 3 times in 1 day!!

9 points......waited 4 years for them to come off.....i was careful.....was told after that if i went to court they wouldnt have been on my license as thiers a law that wont allow same camera in the same day more than once....

Thats true.........a truly rare form of British justice these days........if done consecutively on a variety of cameras....only get done once!!

Andrew, I know how you feel as I had my coupe out on Thursday for the first time since mid December when I went to check on the Khamsin. It's oh soooo easy to put up a speed and the M5 was not too busy mid morning.

But it was nice to blow out the cobwebs as they say.
