Our company has made a major push to get us all to work from home. If this proves successful, I can’t see them justifying the overheads of the massive office. I imagine other companies when/if they get out of this, might question the need for a centralised office for most of its staff. That brings with it IT opportunities, I guess.

We're already discussing exactly that. Generally, we have around 1/4 of the London team working from at any time (a come in if you want / need to policy), but if we can demonstrate efficiency which is at least as good then we can put the space to far better use. I think the medium-long term changes to our ways of life will be interesting.

And whilst I'm a bloody awful air-travel polluter, I also expect to cut this down. A planet which breathes better is pretty cool.

Yep, the Ms’ school has only got 6 children in so they’re doing rotas and she’s been at home. Already the bread looks like the leaning tower of Pisa and the cheese is octagon shaped

Just heard on Nick Ferrari LBC that some supermarkets have reduced their fuel by up to 20p a litre , as oil had gone down to 25$ a barrel ,

We took our daughter to see a show in London, coming back monday evening, must have been 2000 people in euston station all looking at the boards, then one would light up with a platform and train and 200 of them started running.
