It was discussed before Marc.......I see there are two offers on it..........

1. To take it to a scrapyard.

2. To take it to an alternative scrapyard in case the first one turns it down.

Marc sorta stuck as regards a Maser classic, either fork out for a good un........or don't fork out as much to start with then spend spend on it at your leisure...either way very expensive to put right.....pm Bal for his views.

Just from a visual aspect , it will need new/original wheels , rebuilt original engine ( Plus the engine numbers will never tally), complete respray original colour , complete re-upholster , to gain any kind of respect from Maserati enthusiasts that little lot will come to around £15-£20K so its easy to work out how over priced it is , dont let your heart rule your head with classics unless you have 100% commitment and very deep pockets,

I'd tend to look in a few of the more obscure places like Joop Stolz in Holland http://www.stolzeclassiccars.nl/

Yes, spot on Loz.....sinking a lot of money into a non correct/original car can be a folly.......lots of stuff on that site, prices are like what though?

Sometimes he gives base prices but all is generally up for negotiation/discussion , most he buys but some are sold on behalf of customers , its a right little treasure trove , really must get round to doing a weekend visit , Joop lives on site and is happy to have sunday visits , i could spend a couple of days there easy
