Hi guys
I have been posting elsewhere, but for those in UK would be good to see some nice masers at the above meeting at Hopetoun House South Queensferry near Edinburgh.

So far have quite a few people coming from UK maser club. I appreciate that a lot of UK guys on here may not be on club so thought would post. Have about 20 masers coming so far. Double that would be excellent! I have a Khamsin which will be at the event along with other vintage and current masers

I have set up a web site for the event.

www.italiancarandbikeday.co.uk

I do hope quite a lot of you will come with or even without your cars! It's a great venue. We are hopng to have about 300 exhibitors at the event and also have trade stands and displays. Event is for fun and not profit. If you have a passion for these cars lets share it!!

You can contact me via the web site or psantoni@btinternet.com or on my mobile 07831467360

We have a web site hacking problem by those Russian Virus Scammers, should be resolved quickly. Please don't panic if log on as is scam to make people buy duff software. Trying to firewall it to keep them out again.

Hi there
Hopetoun charge £5 per car to get in so in short yes we all have to pay to have our car in front of the house. Doesnt matter how many people are in your car it is still £5. The public who are visiting pay £3.70 per adult and £2.20 per child. Compared to most other events eg Autoitalia the entry price is actually very low. All the money goes to Hopeton as I am making no money from the event!! So far cost me a fair bit
Sorry that was no clearer

Do we pay on the gate?

I got there early afternoon last year and no one was around to collect any entry fee!

So far have about:
20 Maserati
10 Lamborghini
30 Ferrari
1 Zonda
60 Alfas
30 Ducattis
60 Lambrettas

Dont know the other marques numbers yet

coming on sunday.

could do with double that number! Come on guys; Edinburgh isn't that far away and great driving roads from the south to get up/accross!

Should have the web site back up tonight! I hope!

While I admire your desire to double things, well done on what you have achieved, which is well up from the 3 Maser and 2 Lambos of last year for example (and last year, overall, was a good turnout)

Good to see the Ferraris are still common :)

Looking forward to it

Cheers

Are you sure they will be happy...seeing you there in the utterly fabulous....exclusive Maser??????????????......!!!!

;)

Frankly I could'nt give a monkeys as to what they think..... I get enough "raised eyebrows" even when I take my Scimitar GT... just because its modified. So it will be nice to show them what a real car is all about, and god help anyone that thinks their standard scimitar GTE is a better car than my QP!

It annoys me when people are so anal about detail about cars. I have seen some posts about the right stickers on bits of cars and how important they are! What the **** has that got to do with driving the bloody cars!

sorry for the rant but I think if it is a passion just share it rather than restrict it and alienate people

Hope some more of you can come along to the event

Our prizes are for the car or bike the judges would most like to take home. Not the most polished car!
