The only thing I can think of is that the seller advertised the car themselves higher and then traded it in with the dealer for much lower hence the price differential and trade seller. It's pretty common to see the same car with a private seller and then trader.

Or the crafty dealer's created on overpriced private ad to make his car look a bargain. Hence masking the plates to put all but the most eagle-eyed off the scent. But forgetting how rare these cars are and how unlikely identical specs are. Doesn't seem bothered enough to put any detail in the PH ad. Or the dealer's trying multiple price points concurrently.

The car has been up for sale privately for a while...It appeared at the dealer yesterday say it feels like it was PX or they have given to the dealer to sell and maybe they want a quick sale maybe. Either way this looks like a good value Grancab and with the dealer you get some kind of warranty.

The car has only just come up for sale a week ago privately , assuming dealers want at least 10% out of a car would of been a **** of a drop frpm £52k to £44k in one week ? I have seen the different pricing strategy before but why not ask more from the dealer sale with warranty etc .... it is well priced at £48k not totaly sure about the red interior ... also i looked at a Yellow coupe at that dealer a few weeks ago that was described as mint but bumpers different colour to car, one darker one lighter ,also the coupe of the same year is the same price .....and has been for sale for ages ... so why try selling a substandard coupe for more than average but then advertise a cabrio for cheapest out there if it is mint ... hmmmmm I tried emailing the private advertiser to ask what is going on but no reply as yet ............

something wrong somewhere. Thats a great price. I would get it inspected interested. If recently serviced and doesn't need brakes, tyres and other replacements - I would go for it. Really good price coming up to the summer. Not my favourite colour but i would have been tempted at that price point.

Got hold of the previous owner , who said the car was stunning needed nothing and he sold it to the Essex dealer, must have knocked him down a fair bit ( or one and the same person )
Anyway phoned the Dealer he said similar to previous owner , car in great condition Service not needed till next May & all good.
So will have to see if I can get down there this week and Check Condition , Service history , condition of tyres, Brakes etc ...
any other top tips on what to look for ???
Seems a decent price if as described ...
