rubbers needed!!

as some of you know i have bought a new set of wheels and tyres and will be putting them on when im selling or in the summer if i dont sell to enjoy the new wheels which are brand new....

i now have noticed when fitting the exhaust that my rear are below the legal limit so need 2 rears for now.....

shall i buy new?? what brands are good and well priced??

or do i do what my mechanic said and buy good used ones as i have 4 brand new ones in the shed that ill be using later??

help me out with my dilemma please and advise me...also if you do pick the used option, where do i buy them from??
