Saw this in EVO yesterday and though good on them for listening.......Not many if any companies would make changes to there new baby before many have even taken delivery...But they listened and acted......For that nthey should be praised...Couldn't see Ferrari doing that...In fact the onlt feed back you would get for challenging a new Ferrari would be a horses head in your bed..

The big question is... would you have one over a 458 though?

I think I would, but need to drive them both obviously. Luckily/sadly not something I need to worry about!

Lewis, amazed to say it but I think I would also.......I think the whole ownership experience would be better as well...

I don't see the McLaren as a poser's car. That;s not to say I think the Ferrari is, but certainly some people will buy one for that reason. I think the Macca will be for enthusiasts and keen driver's only, you're hardly going to use it to pick up women in!

On that subject - has anyone EVER met a decent woman who has been impressed by a car? I kept mine hidden from Sarah for as long as possible by driving everywhere in a 20yr old Audi for the first few months :)

I think i would have the Macca over the 458, more of a driver's car and less of a "look at me" car. Could not believe how much quicker the MP4 was on Top Gear last weekend.
