Removing C Pillars on Granturismo

The material has started sagging. Has anyone removed them? I did a search, but it said that I had to remove the rear seats, then the parcel shelf before I start! Is there another way?

Not that I am aware of, the fixings are obscured by the parcel shelf and rear seats but it's not too tricky
