Wow, mine was £293 with 1st Central last year. Sold the car in December, possibly a good thing looking at these posts. (2005 4.2 supercharged vogue.)
Nah, just insured mine for £300 fully comp with sainsburys bank because I don't drive a keyless entry car nor do I live anywhere near London

I'd think residuals on LR products are about to fall off a cliff when the used market dries up , the well heeled won't worry about the premiums when they're new but once they hit 5 years old the insurance quotes will put potential buyers off

Yep, we’ve lost nearly £10k in 11 months. Considering calling it quits now and selling it on while we still can.

As a comparison I just got a quote for a 2014 L405 5.0 SC for sale at £24,000 £840 , then a £225,000 4.4 £1900
nothing changed from my 4.2SC which was £300 , so still affordable outside of London, but as statistics show 20% of range rovers across the range are bought in London so if that market dries up that's a big chunk of their business gone.

The fact that land rover insurance won't even quote for new customers tells you how big a problem it must be

There's also a massive difference between the insurance value and asking price

We are far enough out of London to be able to get quotes, but keyless theft is in the rise so it’s impacting everywhere.

We’ve had 3 keyless thefts in our road over the last six months, which I imagine doesn’t help.

Iain Tyrell’s latest video sings the praises of his L322, as do Harry Metcalf and Jeremy Clarkson in their recent chat. Lots of luxury car for hardly any money.
That's the problem I've made for myself , I can't see anything else i'd want to change my L322 for , an L405 would need me to add 20k and it'd still be 10 years old , plus I've just taxed and insured my 4.2SC for £720 where I'd be looking at £1700 to tax and insure a L405 and I can't see it being much different to drive

The L322 by comparison to most other luxury cars is dirt cheap to maintain , i'd love to experience a Bentley but I know i'd be terrified everytime I turned the key to start it.

Need get my quattroporte an mot. Not used it for a couple months, went out to clean up brake disks and stuck in traffic and steam came out drivers side right from under the car for probably 20 seconds then nothing. Drove home and temp stayed where it should and nothing dripping when back and left it running for a few minutes. Guess I need get it up on a ramp, but the quattroporte scares me with stuff like this whereas the l322 does nt

So, I have spent the last two days in a TDV8 L322 Autobiography in northern Italy and I have fallen in love with it.
I'm also moving to the (British) countryside and, to be honest, the only other 'semi-daily' I had in mind, a QP GTS 4.7, is getting to the age where it living outside overnight would be unwise. I also can't get three greyhounds in the back of one.

Since the question was last asked (it's a 35-page thread), who do you suggest for PPIs, and what are the general thoughts on the below?

Well, they all look peachy to me Nayf. Nice dilemma to have. Personal opinion - the green one is the most timeless/classic. Which is probably why its the most expensive. And it'll look good next to the Cup.
Fabulous car - happy hunting!
