Yet you've managed to get every position wrong. As has Midlifecrisis but who's suggestion is along the right lines. He may well be correct but not what I'm looking for and doesn't help with their connection.

Great! So we are homing in on the answer!

The data so far:

I love these logic puzzles.

I could randomly guess based on mark's spreadsheet but I think the order is dictated by wins...
The order is not based on wins as such and the spreadsheet is based on an invalid assumption, although, you now know at least one boxer appears at least twice.

Okay, reasonable guesses accepted based on this order, and for three points only, the connection is what these boxers achieved 1st.
  1. Bob Fitzsimmons
  2. Tommy Hearns
  3. Tommy Hearns
  4. Oscar De La Hoya
  5. Manny Pacquiao
  6. Manny Pacquiao

Answer - the first boxers to win world titles at multiple different weights.

Fitzsimmons 1st to win at 3
Hearns 1st to win at 4 & 5
De La Hoya 1st to win at 6
Pacquiao 1st to win at 7 & 8 (quite incredible)

Midlifecrisis was closest.

Ok, quick question.
During the launch of Apollo 11. Which person recorded a heart rate of 88?
For a bonus, The other two were 110 & 99. Which was which.
