This is a great event for owners of all Italian cars. Just turn up & display on Poole Quay on Friday 24th July between 6pm until 9pm.

Last years attendance was marred by a huge thunderstorm..... hopefully we'll have some better luck this year.

A taster from previous years:

I have been asked by the organisers to point out a couple of matters to help the event run smoothly:
1) Please do not arrive before 6.00pm as the Quay is a no parking zone until then, so we have nowhere to put vehicles, and I know it causes frustration having to be moved on.
2) For those of you that may not know, the event runs from 6 .00 – 9.00pm and we park on a first come first serve basis - I think we can accommodate about 100-120 vehicles."

This is a deffo from me too as long I'm back from Malta in time. It's only half an hour away. Let me know who's coming and I'll book a table at the local Pizza and Pie shop, good cider in there too.

A great event in my neck of the woods. Nice to see my 4200 in the links above.
Good fish and chips and a load of Italian metal.

I'll try and make that as well. It means I can give a date for Emblem to have my 400i fixed by! But if it's not ready, I'll bring a Maser. It would be good to share a beer and a pizza with some other SM forumites.

Just remembered - two years ago I bought a Ghibli GT from the chap that owns the Italian restaurant on the first floor, half way along the quay. Can't remember what it was called, but he gave me a nice lunch as part of the deal. Maybe we could eat there.

There's plenty of places in and around Bournemouth or Poole, Chris stayed in the New Forest last year. Pm him or I could recommend the Durley Chine hotel, or Hallmark I think it's called just down the road from me.

Bother not sure I am going to be down that weekend but my parents are a 10 minute walk along the sea front from the Quay... should be a good evening though :)

In reply to Morebeans, there is a "Hotel Du Vin" right in Poole. Or around the bay is the "Pig on the Beach" on Studland beach. Alternatively there is the original "Pig" in the New Forest near Lyndhurst, which allows a visit to Meridien Modena at the same time. But there are masses of hotels in the Poole/Bournemouth area to suit all budgets. My suggestions are just three that I happen to know and visit.
