Cheap motoring for 12 months. Who’d have though that of a Maserati. I’m not surprised it sold, any genuine buyer coming to see it was almost certain to buy it. How could you walk away?

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I was the same. Had a fullfat 2011 4.4tdv8 and it was 10x more needy than the QP. Kept it for 11 months including lockdown. Great cruiser and powerful, but you have to be prepared to drive like an old far t around corners and roundabouts. So did not suit my driving style.Must admit it was immaculate and not a thing wrong.
Looking at Range Rovers now. One of them cars I’ve never had but always wanted.

They would be a great cruiser but the diesel is way too needy with the dpf. It was that and my driving style that made me sell. I did 1k miles in it over a week and it was spot on. You need to be doing long distances in a diesel. That's what I thought. A friend bought his wife a 1.9tdi VAG box but she did frequent 4 or 5 mile journeys so it was only doing about 25mpg for that reason. He would borrow it and take it for a long run to see what was wrong and manage 50 mpg!You need to be doing long distances in a diesel.
