QP Wheel Colour

As Some of you maybe aware, i'm currently in the throws of bolting my QP back together after having the car fully re-sprayed (major gravel rash repair) as part of this i had my wheels refurbed some weeks ago, the original colour was the standard greyfinish as per GT, which i thought was a little dark for my car, the new finish is a dusting of silver over anthricite and a good covering of clear.

What do you guys think, as at the moment i dont know if it looks right ?

Andy

That does look very neat and the paint looks well applied as well.

My QP is suffering from the same gravel rash. Is it advisable to get the whole car re-sprayed or will the problem areas coverage do it? There are quite a few stone chips and spots all over the front of the car so thinking if the cost is not prohibitively more then I can get the whole thing done.

The colour is Blu Nettuno which I presume is just one shade lighter than yours.

Had some nasty chips on the front of my GT (Blu Oceano ) done a few months ago...a fairly extensive job.. bonnet, nose and blended into the wings..

Riviera Auto Body did the job...outstanding result on a notoriously difficult colour to match... pretty reasonable price too.... I'd recommend them

Based near Reading, specialists in exotic cars.. few nice pics on their website..

Thank you.
Seems quite good. I will contact them and see what it will cost and how much time it will take.

The main problem with the QP is the gravel rash in front of the rear wheels , mine had got to the state that it could be seen on both doors the rear quarters and stone chip over the entire front including bonnet, so it seemed the sensible option to re-spay the whole car, mine was indeed Blue Nettuno, however my girls liked the shade of Blue Passione which on the chips is a much richer blue as per the new Ghibli and QP, i will attempt to get some outside photos up- loaded as soon as I can

Hi Andy
Mine is pretty similar and it is a bit of an eye sore. Would appreciate some photos of the Blue Passione to get an idea if its the one to go for.
