QP(V) Warranty Renewal

Hi
Some may recall this was the last job to do on my car following Test and Insurance after 1 year ownership.
So
I trawled the internet (2 hours) and finally got a quote for £1600 for my 2007 QP (57000 miles) from Warranty Direct. They called me straight after my on line quote and I told them I wanted it to start end of March so that held them off while I thought about it.
They agreed to call back later
The next day they called back and offered me the deal for £1400 all this was last week.
Today they repeated the offer
I accepted and added Emissions and Airbags to the deal for an extra £50.
They are arranging an inspection to take place at my house at my convenience for an extra fee of £70 which they have included in the £1400. Apparently this inspection takes an hour and does not amount to much, then the warranty starts.
Hopefully that's me all done and legal and protected.
I have been doing this since February 1st!

Well.... having just dropped £2300 on my QP (front brake pads, fit the disks I supplied, new master cylinder/servo, 8 off coil packs), that's probably money well spent! £1400 eh?

Yes pretty chuffed, just this inspection malarky to get passed.
The warranty seemed good covered all the bits and bobs, replacing old for new etc
I will let you know more when I get all the paperwork through

Make sure you pay to have the improvement clause removed, it's £50. If you don't you will have to pay a proportion of the parts cost for anything they class as improving the car - which is just about everything. Other than that they are super, they have approved almost everyone of our claims and settle within 10 days. They have forked out just over £8k on the Range Rover over 2 years of cover which cost just under £1300, money well spent in my book.

Gadgey came from Durham to inspect the QP for the warranty.
He checked last service date / MOT, and appropriate mileage. He checked the level and condition of the oil on the dipstick
he checked the Sat Nav booted up.
We went for a short drive and checked cruise control and air con was working
that was it.
He submits a report to Warrantwise and................????????????????
