Front brakes need replacing. Would Eurospares be the suggested cheapest place in the UK to pick up discs other than main dealer?

Anyone know whether skimming of the discs is an effective alternative to replacing?

And which non OEM pads are recommended for normal spirited driving?

I think the pads you want are ebc yellow stuff , discs you're stuck with eurospares ,main dealer or formula dynamics but no option is cheap

Anyone changed their QP 4.2 discs and/or pads and have any part numbers?

I bought a rear set of EBC red pads and will source a front set. Just need a set of 4 discs as will change the QP brakes all round next year. They are on their last legs at the mo.

The ES pattern discs for the 4.2 QP have been used by ither forum members and received good feed back.

I think you mean well priced for a maserati, for any other car they'd be £40

Agreed...funny how you get used to price levels. I come from a few AMG Mercs so there was always AMG tax on those as well.
