Hi

I've picked up stone chips on the rear wheel arch. Where it flares out/base of back door. Nothing major but starting to now look unsightly.

I'm trying to sell the car but i'm reluctant to get the area painted, as it will be back in that condition in no time so not a solution to the issue.

When i was looking at QP's initially i noticed many had a rear arch protector film/wrap fitted, which i thought was a bit naff, but i can now see why.

Any suggestions where i can get a protector from ? and if that's a good idea for saving the paint in that area?

cheers
Craig

there are a lot of places that do the stone chip film now just put in your search and there will be one near you.

I have it all over the TVR and its worth it. In Canada they wrap whole cars in it, amazing to see.

The QPs rear bumper is notorious for taking a lot of abuse. I thought Gtec Crystal serum was designed to create a thick protective coating.

I see you have a Tuscan. Sooo wish i'd kept mine when the kids came along but got sensible. Probably worth about 10k more now. Best fun ever !

I've got some sort of protector on mine - I suspect it was put on as more of a "coverer-upper" but now performs as a protector... QP is Black with black protector so not particularly noticeable.
