The QP has a know issue with the strike panels in front of the rear wheels getting peppered with stone chips.
in 2006, larger front mud flaps were introduced...
(Apparently, some indies have not heard of these, right Paul)...
These are available, to order, from Eurospares At £4.53 each (plus VAT and Del)...

I fitted them to my car about a year ago, they do not eliminate the problem, but do help.
