QP. "Graunchy" rear doors.

A small problem with my car that's been there since I bought it.

When I open or close the rear doors, they don't have a smooth operation. There's some resistance and a very slight "graunchy" sound. Indeed, on close inspection, the nearside door doesn't sit perfectly flush.

I seem to remember reading on here that these doors can drop out of position. Is this correct? And, is the fix an easy one? Or, is it back to McGraths?

Thanks.

Could be the door stays or the shims, as they wear they can sound rough. The door stays can be removed without removing the door so you can easily check that one off

My 1st 4200 was found to be missing one of the holding pins in the hinge...could have fallen off; so much for hand-built quality.

I have the same issue on my driver's side rear door. I do know the doors can come out of alignment and can be re-set but imagine it could be a fiddly job if its not the door stays.

My car is going into HR Owens for its service in May so will get them to look at it then.
