Hello MF and welcome to the forum,
What can I say that hasn't already been said...not a lot really,
I have a 2004 Duoselect and you are very welcome to have a look round, listen to the exhaust, have a ride, etc...
I am near Danbury/Maldon/Chelmsford, so not a million miles away,
Have owned mine for 2 years 8 months and have enjoyed every minute :D
Good luck in your search and do post more questions if you have any,
Regards,
Enzo.

Enzo, thanks for the offer, those pipes sound like they turn the QP into the bad boy version of the car that's underneath.

I'm never one for altering something unless it's for the better, QP body, never dream of it, exhaust note opened to how it should be without the Green Party Is another thing!

I'm going back to Yorkshire for a bit tomorrow but would be good to meet up and get some pointers, I'll be in touch, thanks.

Nice thing about the exhaust is that if you are gentle on the pedal, it is very quiet in the cabin ( the double glazing helps :D )...

Enzo, the glass may well help. The wife has already said she is not happy taking the little man on a long haul flight. Ok, QP down to the heel of Italy in February. Can you get infant ear plugs?.. ;-)

Andy, I go across to Chepstow quite a bit to dive that lovely quary you have, maybe see you over there one weekend for a pint.

That would be good.....Let me know and if I'm about we can meet up fro a chat and a drink....

The Auto is suppose to suit the cars nature better...Smoother.....The Duo Select auto mode has always come in for some stick in the press......Duo select mode is great though, but again it all depends who you speak to......I've been in Enzo's and around track in it and it was brilliant....I would drive both and see what you like.....

Very good point made by Andy, definitely worth trying both...

The motoring press have been unkind about the F1 duo select gearbox in the past. Some reported a big improvement with the introduction of the ZF conventional automatic on later models. The duo select is an acquired taste but can nonetheless be highly rewarding to drive.

From what I've seen duo select is a very rewarding car to drive when you get used to it and learn how to drive it.......
