Privilege Insurance

I recently moved my insurance to Priviledge having been with Groupama for the last 2 years. Got a great deal but they have now came back asking for confirmation of the alarm & immobiliser. Also, they say i am not covered for theft or attempted theft in the interim.

I have challenged them on this and they have relentedby saying that they will still honour the cover, as long as I can provide evidence of the alarm system retrospectively should anything happen. Not an entirely comfortable position...

So I have spoken with Paul at Dick Lovett (who supplied the car) and he has put me in touch with Paul Green at Maserati GB. Both have been very helpful but I now have to scan and send my V5 and email it to Paul so that they can provide a letter of confirmation. All in all, a pain in the backside.

So, if anyone out there is considering using Priviledge, just beware that you might get a similar request.

I've just received my policy from Hiscocks (via Aplan) and am very happy with it.
Good price all being considered. They too wanted the NavTrak functioning etc. which it is now as part of the purchase agreement.
