Seen RR Phantom outside our office last week

5V

Wasted on that car, should be on a Lamborghini to do justice to their Sport Veloce moniker

What price for this baby? :study:

Plates with the alpha before the numeric are worth more as they tend to be original issue, typically from before WW2. Ones the other way round have, in the main, been auctioned by DVLA over the last 20 years.

Values are impossible to quantify without a willing buyer once you get over the 'two by two' numeric then alpha plates. The latter are £5k-£20k depending on what they are.

5V? Over £100k.

Depends on your view Matt. Personally I like short plates and don't like plates that make names and/or need manipulating to say something. I just feel that shorter is classier.

Re price, people into selling plates would tell you the cheapest single-single is around £80k. "OK" single-singles are £100k plues, desirable (i.e. both initials) ones are c£250k, then special ones, A1 etc....well, the owner wont sell and certaintly doenst need the wedge, so effectively priceless.
