Power steering cooler

Hi guys my 06 4200 CC power steering cooler has a hole on left hand side so need a replacement! I’m getting prices from nearly £1200 to a more reasonable £500. Been reading up through here and some say demon tweeks probably a universal? Not really sure what to do tbh I will fit it myself as I’m ok with oily bits just unsure which one to buy. Many thanks . I really don't know why the PAS needs a cooler anyway. It's not as though you are going from lock to lock on a rally stage all day.

No I guess not but maybe the engine generates a lot of heat so needs it? I’m a carpenter so not a clue bud.

I've two other cars with hydraulic power steering with no cooler, just don't understand why our cars have one!

Maserati parts pricing taking the p*** again; part was £125 when mine failed years ago.

Marios at Autoshield Manchester has replacement upgraded parts for a fraction of the Maserati part price.

The Maserati part jumped up in price a few years ago and there was a 50% difference between the RHD and LHD car part.

It’s quite a price for the cooler tbh but varies so much it’s unreal!!

I just had one of these fitted whilst my front bumper was off for paint.

Be aware the old QP part that could be modified is now NLA from Maserati, but you can get a revised one for the QP only that has been changed to make it no longer adjustable for the 4200... another route blocked for the little guy!
