Son told me that these are the tires he wants when replacement time comes around. Not really sure if they are even produced in the right sizes (235/35/19 - front, 265/30/19 - rear). Thoughts?

Kind regards,
Felix

Just to be sure...stock front tires are 235/40 not 235/35. and rears are 265/35 not 265/30.
That being said, if he has changed the wheels to those sizes, do a "google search" and you'll see the options.
Hope this helps somewhat! :)

Sorry for the confusion, but he is only 13. Extremely knowledgable and passionate about these cars! :)

Corsa tyres being R rated are more relevant for the occasional semi track work - had them and replaced. Not the best (Terrible) in damp/wet conditions.

The 35/40 combination is for 18" wheels. The GS has 19's

Felix. Don't try them in the UK. Your roads are wet. Corsas are not oriented it wet. They're dangerous.

I don't generally take the car in the rain, so that aspect does not worry me, nor do I take it to the track. Maybe best to stick with normal P-Zeros. Pirelli don't even list the right sizes for the GS on their current site for the Corsas. What about the Trofeo R? That has the correct sizes for the GranSport.

Kind regards,
Felix

If u don't track or drive the car hard- how can you in Victoria, then the Corsa's & Trofeo tyres (up spec to Corsa's) are an overkill.

You can also go one size wider front & rear to factory spec.on std GS rims

Thats very poignant Adam.....very few of us ever get to fully interact with our cars even at an 80% threshold......

Thanks again Adam :). I will definitely be staying with standard P-Zeros. Also, when is the next MMG meet? My son and I are yet to attend one.

Kind regards,
Felix

Don't have formal meetings as such, occasional breakfast get together and drive days ..............but nothing planned as yet.

Adam, just out of curiosity, are P Zero Corsas available in the correct sizes for the GranSport? The red one currently for sale on Carsales has them, so they must exist.

No idea about GS as only been a passenger, but I can vouch for the P-Zero Corsa an a 3200.

Awesome.
My car was a buking bronco on any other tyres, spinning up the rears, aquaplaning and generally trying to kill me. In an exciting and fun way.

Fitted corsa tyres, beofre european road trip. Tackled the infamous stelvio pass (and many others), with melt water streaming down the road form 4 feet high snow at the roadside. All grip, no slip and I mean hard acelleration, not even spinning up an inside wheel. 3000 miles later we are back at home and still driving confidently in wet, cold UK conditions.

My car is transformed and will live on these tyres in future. I too had my doubts after hearing all the stories, but this is my real world reportage. Any other drivers had them fitted?

No problem.
They will of course wear out much faster than any other tyres, being treadwear index 60 against usual tyres 220-240). All of my former tyres (P-zero, Falken & Continental?) lasted 10-16k miles on the rear which is 3 years motoring for most of us.
With recent changes my 3200 tyres might still last a few years.
