I stopped to fuel the QP at the services just north of Bristol on the M5 yesterday. Filled up without paying much attention.

I've just looked at the receipt. £1.83 per litre!!!!!!!
(Admittedly that was for super unleaded, but even so...)

So be warned you lot - don't fill up there.

That’s very high! Even here in Switzerland it’s “only” 1.95CHF per litre which is around £1.56. Not bad given it’s normally more expensive out here.

Petrolprices.com

or use waze

It allows you to know the prices in advance with reasonable accuracy.

And NEVER ever fill up on the motorway, they are ALWAYS the dearest. Just splash and go if you have too.

Only been using Shell V power for the last 18 months and last night it was £1,56 so im happy with that, the crappy E10 is £1.48 at my local Enfield garage so not much saving anyway

Tesco momentum 99 E5 is usually only pennies dearer than the shell garage ¼ mile away near me

It's not just really old cars E10 affects , a fried has an 08 plate BMW that's having problems but only on E10 , I said to fill it with E5 and it's been fine since

I don't get it why people use E10, the difference in price is a couple of cups of coffee on a full tank
