In Paris...thats perfectly acceptable parking practice...................
P

I've seen a lot worse than that in France: I've seen people "create" a parking space by pushing both cars either side further apart.

Or outside the pubs in rural Ireland where everyone blocks everyone else in but it's okay because they are all left unlocked and you just get your mates to roll the offenders out of the way.

Mind you, it's been a while since I was boozing over there, things might have changed.

I was told a while back not to worry about yourself but just accept that there is some **** in his life at the moment and he is looking for an outlet for it. Don't worry, drive your car and smile.

I reckon I'd have had to do a 'reply all' "if you can't park your current car, perhaps it's not unreasonable to suggest it is you that brings a smaller car to work?"

Or do a ' reply all' and make a polite and considered reply saying that if he is having difficulties parking his car, please give you a shout and you'd be happy to park it for him.

Hahaha! Excellent... And well worth a try. I wonder how well it would be received by the other addressees?

I think this guy is jeleous of someone else having a car of higher value. (I both own a saab -well..sold now- and a Maser, and i'm not jeleous!).

In the case you were parking a citroen DS 21 instead of the QP, there would be no complaints...

I see your point....

I think he's descended from the Wherethefuckarewe tribe. They are traditionally short and live amongst the tall Pampas grass....hence their name.....

oddly enough the 159 is only a little shorter than the QP (in current form V ) and longer than the IV variant, boosting the same height and width so what is his problem? just that your bonnet pokes a little over the line? . Fecking Muppet!
with people like that i have serious concerns about their ability to drive and there for the safety of other road users.!

2.4m x 4.8m is the accepted norm for a space - not many cars are over 15 feet long, even today - except my 820 Rover Vitesse was 15'4" without the tow bar - it stuck out the garage by 4". Luckily they were such cr4p cars (mine was no exception) most have gone to the breakers yard.

I cant believe someone would send an all persons email complaining about their obvious lack of morale fibre and inability to park their car. Does he wear a kagool?

Can you rent a Hummer for the week?

He probably regrets it now. I was once told that if you are really upset by something at work then draft an e-mail without addressing it, save it to drafts and then come back to it a few hours later. Quite often you will be glad that you did not send it but you still have the option to do so.

I had the same advice many years ago and have often used it. It's quite good therapy to write a ranting email, but even better when you think of the consequences before sending some of them!

Better still get onto someone elses computer when they are distracted, deliberately, and send it as polite observation from someone who cares. That'll confuse the barst...
