Hi Guys

As title suggests ive been having a parking sensor issue for a few weeks now. Thought initially it was linked to cold weather and tryed cleaning sensor and also used silicone spray etc. The funny thing that differs perhaps from other threads is that if I shut off and restart car thru ignition and quickly engage reverse gear, the parking sensors always kick in and stay on for the duration of the drive. However if I start car and wait a few secs the "parking unavailable" message always comes up. I have also made sure my battery is fully charged thru charger (although havent checked voltage levels).
My car is a granturismo 2014 sport. Any ideas what may be wrong?
Thanks

Marios told me that only genuine Maserati sensors fit my QPV. At £145 ish each plus fitting

I’ve had a similar issue ever since I got the car over three years ago. The dealer in NI sent me a replacement Ferrari front sensor but it’s far too sensitive and picks up things over 5 metres away. I was wondering if there’s some kind of calibration that needs doing or whether it’s just not the right part.

Other than that, I agree the warnings depending on the battery charge and how quickly you select reverse. The car’s due a service so hopefully a specialist will know how to sort it.
