tell that to Richy..the poor lad has the cheapest on the market and has still not sold....
Its a funny one, Dicky's car. It looks like its been well looked after, clearly enthusiast owned, but just not selling. Some may say its the silver, but IMO it looks great and the wheels set it off a treat.
IMO, if the car needs to be sold, it comes down to the price a lot of the time. I sold my last car a couple of months back, looked at the trader/PH etc to gauge prices, and priced it at what I thought was fair. It was in superb condition, was a very rare spec, FULL dealer history yadda yadda yadda....but ultimately, I wanted a private sale as had been given comdeic offers as a PX. I wanted it to go to an enthusiast as somewhere between trade in and retail....it was closer to trade-in in realisty, but it sold and it found a good home. If it had been any lower, I would genuinely have kept the car and thats a great fall back position to be in. Thats my sellers point of view.
From a buyers perspective, as someone currently in the market, if I see a car for sale privately, personally, I'd want it to be cheaper than a dearler by, say £2-3k. No warranty, no prep, etc etc. So, my totally irrelevant point is that that car is probably worth £25k if there's not pressure, but compared to similar cars at dealers, it needs to be £22-23k t shift.
Actually, having said that, there's a Nero car with 67k for sale for around the same money....and my observations are these are very influneced by milage!
