Northing wrong with a Mini Adam! ;)

Yeah, thats not good. I had a 330d when my M3 was in once and I rang to say "can I bring it in Sat am instead of Fri pm...I work in London and returning for 6.30 Fri means the afternoon off" - they'd done a LOT of work on the car. Reply? "No, the salesman wants it back friday, sorry". Unbelievable attitude. The last place I used gave me a 330d for something like 4 weeks while the front calliper was on back-order. Never heard a peep out of them!

No i know, we were happy when they said we could borrow a Mini, just p1ssed off about having a KA which has about 2 bhp. That is very poor, as if the salesman needs that car back when he probably has a fleet of approved used cars to chose from. What are BMW like now, we have not had one since we sold our X3 in 2005.

Yes Woody Minis are cracking cars .. Lots of fun ...My wife had one when they came out.

Had the CSL in 2008/2009 - Yep probably is still worth the same money ...Saying that I dd see it the other day and the chap doesn't look after it .. I could have cried.

i remember you telling me about the condition of your beloved, you said the splitter was hanging off didn't you?

Just going on my 3200 and CSL...The 3200 never felt any where near as fast as the CSL .. But two different types of car.

I don't think the GS can outbrake an M3 much less CSL. Strange thing is I don't even own one but yet the reliability of the GS brakes under constant pummeling at speed under all that weight is a case of consternation. Please feel free to dispel my fears.

I dont have enough experience of the GS brakes but I can say that the BMW M3 brakes are widely known to be a weak point of the car. Of the GS's I've driven, I've found the brakes to be a lot more positive, though I've yet to give a GS an extended hard time.

Gransport brakes are superb. I've driven 25000 miles in them and driven all over the place quite quickly and never had a problem with them.
