... would see me right.

A couple of weeks ago I had the enormous pleasure of driving in sunshine through the heart of England to view, in relatively quick succession, a 3200GT and a GranSport.

I'd like to thank both owners for being so generous with their time and for allowing such good access to their cars.

To drive them almost back-to-back was a privilege. I certainly hadn't anticipated how two such superficially similar cars could feel so different. The 3200GT was a joy, though I was never fully certain who was in charge - me or the car. It had the feel of a "classic car". The GranSport, in contrast, felt almost like a new car and was far too fast for a slipper-wearer like me.

So after some deliberation, I bought the Gransport.

Thanks to all those kind folk on the forum who offered the benefit of their knowledge and experience. Thanks especially to Ashley at Sports Italia for kind help and advice. And thanks most of all to EnzoMC for agreeing to sell me the Gransport he's been taking care of for the last decade. It's a hoot.
