Central sounds better to me as that way people from the west can still make it and it's good for us coming from the east of the country.

Your right Robert. I feel like I'm not going to be able to wait that long. I've checked on Google maps and it's 256 miles from my house so going to enjoy driving it home!!!

If looking around Ladybower there is also the Yorkshire Bridge on the way to Bamford. Could also go through Hathersage and end up at the Fox House Inn.
Some nice roads around ;-)

How about a trip to North Wales? We could take in the Evo triangle and end up at the Groes Inn which is frequently used as a watering hole/overnight stop by Evo magazine. See here www.groesinn.com

Hi guys, probably way too short notice, and not an 'event' anyway, just that I (+wife) will be lunching at Muskham Ferry just north of Newark off the A1 on Sunday 1st from midday.
Not essential to book apparently (although we have) so rapid decisions not necessary unless dozens turn up and it goes pear-shaped with drinks only.
Looks like a dry day to get the silver Spyder rolling.
No interest, no problem.

I'm at the races tomorrow so blood/alcohol levels may not be good enough to get there but if it ends up being quiet at the races tomorrow I might just make it.
