New Owner - QP5 Sport GT

Steering wheel arrived today from Royal Steering Wheels, this is : "Maserati Quattroporte 2008 - Full Modification with Flat bottom, SMOOTH leather + Ivory centre stripe, Ivory stitching "
Had to swap over all the gubbins from the old wheel but went without a hitch.

Ok Ive reattached the pics , tried to import them from Google photos earlier but have reverted to attaching them from the mobile

Very similar to my steering wheel from Jack. Makes such a huge difference not only in looks but most certainly in feel, and the way you interact with the car. Best value for money upgrade, along with X-pipe, switchable exhaust valves and spacers.

These carbon shifters look amazing. How do they feel in hand?
Can you share a source where did you get them? I've been looking but no joy.

Paddles Here , 10 days delivered.

I have a feeling they are ever so slightly closer to the wheel but hard to confirm, i'm pretty sure I feel them ever so slightly on the back of my hands at the extended sections of the paddles , without some OEM larger items to compare I can't say. I've also got a thicker wheel so need to factor in a mm or two in that regard.

Finish is great , they feel solid enough, no flex if you pull on the outer reaches (extended parts Vs OEM)

Maserati ahead of its time with a multi functional wheel... shame the execution was rather haphazard and the lack of micro switches

I’ve got a set of these and I think they are great and easily the nicest paddles I have used on any car. The lip at the back where your fingers go makes them feel really positive to use. I don’t remember them being closer to the steering wheel than the large eom ones I had before

I know tints are not everyone's cup of tea but my inspiration for mine came from the pic on the Evo buyers guide of this facelift QP :
96220

5% on the rears and 35% on fronts to balance it out :
96221
It's very dark in the back now

The most expensive springs I've ever purchased are here (H&R) after I got stung on import charges , probably going to wait to fit them though.
