NEW OWNER - GT SPORT MC SHIFT

After 9 month lurking, I'm now the happy new owner of a Maserati GranTurimo Sport MC Shift. It took a while to find it as I was looking for something very specific and quite rare I was told - Blue MC Shift GT Sport with the new sport seats and the MC handling pack.
I eventually found it and it happens to be a forum car! I haven’t had the chance to take photos yet but you can check it out in the classified section (https://www.sportsmaserati.com/index.php?threads/granturismo-sport-mc-shift-2013.34525/). The car has truly been cherished and beautifully looked after.

Quick newbie question: The car has been serviced religiously every year and it's now due for a minor service. I heard good things from both AV Engineering and SportsItalia. Any preference between these 2? Also, my in laws live in Staffordshire and that would be quite easy and convenient for me to do future services up there. Are there any highly rated Maserati specialist around there (someone in par with AV Engineering and SportsItalia)? Many thanks.

Nicely done, sir!

Welcome to the madhouse. I take my car to Matt at SportsItalia, and the only other place he recommends in the South is AV, so I guess whichever is most convenient for you!

Happy noise-making!

Congratulations on a very good choice of maser!
As you say, a rare beast in that spec, and in my opinion, the sweet spot for the Granturismo. (I have one the same spec but in black ;))

The 'annual' service was done out of the previous owner's choice, and shows its been cared for, but it's totally up to you if you want to continue to do that. The OEM service is every 2 years.
I choose to do an annual service myself, and then get a respected indi (like the ones you mention) to do the 2 yearly for the correct stamps in the book.

Enjoy!

Welcome - I'm sure you will enjoy what is a great car. From Staffordshire your best bet is Autoshield in South Manchester; very much on a par with AV and SportsItalia.

I would only use AV Engineering or Sports Italia. I have used them both (SportsItalia did a PPI on the new car) and really happy with their service. I plan to get the Apple play installed soon, maybe spend two days by the sea!
I prefer annual service on anything exotic!
