New GS owner at last.

As soon as I saw her I knew she was for me. After seeing others this really was "out of the box" condition.
Yes, it's not an LE as they said it was, and I think they were a bit embarrassed of this..
I was surprised that it also needed 2 rear tyres which they would not throw in! So I asked them to deliver it to London free off charge, which they agreed to.
Surprisingly it looked a lot better in the flesh. The leather is much lighter and not reconditioned, the body colour doesn't have that purply tinge to it as the photos suggest. It seems that the 2nd to last owner was Maranello.

Thank you all for your wealth of knowledge, This made me seem like a bit of a purest.

Great news.
What is the body colour?
It does look like mine, Sebring Blue, and if so, you only pick out the purple hue and red flecks in the paint under certain light conditions.
Infact it was only after a couple of years of ownership I actually noticed the red flecks under very close inspection when pointed out to me by someone in the paint industry who was admiring the colour!

It certainly was wet up there Dave!!!
I think it's the nettuno Blue. Rather dark.
As it needs 2 rear tyres I was going to fit the F1 goodyear 275 30 19. slightly larger than the recommended. Has anyone done this on here?
