Sold my Cup earlier today, with mixed feelings. It's gone to a nice chap though, which helps. I (well, my wife) decided I didn't need a Cup and a Shamal, and the Shamal won through.

Shock, didn't think you would sell that Ewan - but must admit I would sell a lot for a Shamal

The Cup is a great car and a rock solid investment. But I knew I simply wouldn't use it anymore. So the decision became whether to put it in a Carcoon and bring it out again in, say, 5 or 10 years time, or sell it and let someone else enjoy the ride. I eventually chose the latter.

They are my badges I bought them 2 years ago. They have a lead in time of about a year they are that busy.

Ewan - did it need to go ? The nature of a collection is that it grows !

What will you replace it with ?

A collection can change as well as grow! I may have downsized the Masers from 4 to 3, but the Porsche side of my garage is expanding. But fret not, the immediate priority is a small wedge from the 70's. Currently I'm deciding between a 308 gt4, uracco, esprit or merak. So there's a good chance I'll be back up to 4 Masers soon.

That said, if the white 308 I saw at Emblem today was actually for sale...
