Hi Everyone,
I'm joining this community as it's been a while I was reading your threads but realised I couldn't see any picture, nor participate.. Here we go, I decide to thake the digital chunnel somehow.

I'm 42 and decided to get a real state of art car (and one I could afford) : a 3200 GT in april this year. Although my very first car, a 1979 "very special" Mini was also a piece of art in different ways and I still miss it !

My 3200 is a late 2001, a phase 2 I believe and as it is numbered on the Euro number : e3*98/14*0044*02

Since april I've done or made done some work : belts, fluids, clutch, radiator.. But still thing to get done to make the princess almost as new, so I may participate in some discussions around here...
Cheers,
Frog3200

There are a number of tips which take in France each year...so hope you can meet up with us some time.

Beautiful car, an excellent choice.
Good luck with the little jobs, you will find lots of expert knowledge here to help you.
3200gt certainly are 'very special'. Enjoy it.

Thanks a lot for your welcoming messages.. I'd of course be glad to meet someday. To tell you the truth, I also think about travvelling up to Maseratished one day to have the throttle body fixed, although for the moment no problem at all on this side. The car is 84 000 km (+- 55 k miles ?). 2 owners prior me in Italy, the last one being a conservative guy on the cosmetic, but did only the minimum on the mecanics, so the bill is for me now, to get it perfect :)

A beauty! I had a 3200 in that colour many years ago, so am now jealous of yours.

Maseratished is not far from me. If you visit, I will meet you there in my Venturi Atlantique. But be warned, Maseratished really is a shed - there is zero glamour!

Welcome indeed - several of us spend a lot of time in France, and (Benny excepted) love the place and the people. Post lots - you'll get a lot back from this forum.

Thanks again ! If I come to the shed it'll be the 3rd time I travel to the UK for spare parts : 1st at a Mini specialist in London in 95 (can't remember the name), where I bought a KN filter and a needle for my carburetor (yes ! 3HP more hahaha), 2nd at Autodelta in 2005 just to buy white side lights for my GTV 2L TS (btw Andyk we might have talked on GTVV6's forum a few years ago...), so why not coming for my 3200 in 2017.. Nothing more natural than driving to the UK to improve an Italian car !
