New daily driver

I'm sure most on here won't approve of my new daily drive, but I've dropped down to 2 cars now, a Tesla model S for daily driver and the manual 4200 for playing in and weekend trips. Really blown away by the Tesla, seems light years ahead of similar competitors and the supercharger network made a long road trip so easy (and free) last week.
There are a lot of Tesla fanboys out there, but in case anyone is thinking of getting one and want to ask any questions feel free. I can also give you a referral code for free supercharging if anyone does want to ever order one.

Nowt against electric cars and Teslas seem good, I don't warm to the big screen, but they're comfortable and blisteringly quick. If I needed an actual car to use for car things (which my car isn't, not really) then I'd consider going electric and would look at a Jaguar iPace (I think that's its name) as well as Tesla.

I had a Tesla S for a while when I lived in Denmark, to be honest I missed the sounds and smells of a performance IC engine, it's a winner as car, but I think we here generally want a bit more and a prepared to take the woes that go with it.

Hope it works out for you.
A supplier of mine changed his C63 Merc for a Tesla, and initially he loved it.
Unfortunately he found the range reduction in winter a real handicap, journeys in the summer when he first bought it he found he couldn't achieve in the winter. Especially if he wasn't near a charging point when the car was 'cold' to preheat the batteries and cabin before he started a journey, using the batteries to warm the batteries and warm the cabin reduced his range significantly. Not a problem in California!

Considered a Tesla before but with under 200 mikes range it was just not practical for me.

Plus I have to say the build quality and the quality of the leather in my 2006 QP far exceeds that of the 2016 Telsa S I had on loan...

That's saying something really, given Italian car perceived quality, more about how good it is compared to say the 1983 Alfa 33 I had, that was awful, simply awful....

But for me the Telsa for a 100k+ car doesn't exude quality.....
