Here's what I heard back from HR Owen about the testing of these child seats:

Dear Shakeel,

I can verify that the Maserati child seats conform to the United Nations ECE Regulation No. 44 - "Uniform Provisions Concerning the Approval of Restraining Devices for Child Occupants of Power-Driven Vehicles ('Child Restraint Systems')"

To conform to the Regulation, a child restraint must meet a series of design and construction requirements and pass a series of performance tests, the main ones of which are summarised on this web page http://www.childcarseats.org.uk/standards/r4403.htm

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

Pull the other one.....

I see we are really milking this for all it's worth...

I also note Frank's request to set up a specific section for 'donoring' - I can see that leading to lots of 'issues'.

*attempting to get thread back on track*
I have the 1-3 version in the back of my car. Amélie went in it for the first time last weekend and puked on it, which means she likes it!
It a lot nicer than the Britax (?) one we have in the back of the Beemer, with a rubberised coating on the inside of the harnesses that stop them slipping off or over her shoulders if she wriggles.
