For the last 3 weeks I have had this feeling of great sorrow and loss. This is of one of the nicest cars I have had the pleasure of owning.

Look after her Lee :)

Yeps know that feeling well Arnie , im still constantly surprised then saddened when i turn on my drive to see only the Gransport sitting there all lonely , her twin sister off to sunnier climes, hold personal feelings for that car still, i think the reason being that the ownership times was all good memories , no bad bills or breakdowns truly a lucky car for me

Once again many thanks for the comments, I do think the car looks good in black but then I guess that stands to reason (to be honest i liked it in all the colours I saw) but thought this one looked right the moment I saw it the colour combination also seemed a bit more timeless than some of the cars (to me anyway). I am looking forward to another long run on some nice roads, although I don't want to go over the top on the mileage I want to use the car. As much as I enjoy polishing / tinkering with my cars the real pleasure is driving them after all that is what they were made for.

Thanks Arnie I will take good care of her, as far as I am concerned she's a keeper. I have had the Capri for 27 years, most of that time on the road albeit in recent years as a toy / occasional car but with good regular use and thats what I intend for the 3200.

I have wanted a maserati since I was a kid and had originally looked at Merak's and Khamsin's (possibly a late Ghibli) but just felt they would not be practical enough to use on a more regular basis. I loved the 3200 when it was released and for me it has a very important place in Maserati's history.

Cheers
