Hi Everyone

I have been in the Maserati club for 6 years but didn't know about the forum until a friend told me so had to join, I have had over the last 6 year period the following 1 x 3200 GTA , 2 x 4200 cc spiders, currently a Gran Turismo but have recently bought a 1975 Merak which has had a complete ground up fit including rebuilt engine, its a matching numbers car with just 28k on the clock and has taken about 12 months to complete by Meridian Modena.

Looking forward to using this great car this summer on the club rally's which are great fun having been all over Europe and Uk in the GT.

Love the Forum and reading all stuff about my favorite cars.

I have enclose some shots of the Merak (hopefully)

Pete

What a gorgeous car. :numberone:
Would love to see it in the flesh....are you by any chance going to Silverstone to join the Centenary Parade 27th July.....there's a thread on here under events....about 30+ going from SM forum....I'm sure there will be many who would love to see you there.

Gorgeous. i want one more than ever......

Just messaged a guy in Cheshire selling a SS for around £20K. Had a £9K engine rebuild but needs bodywork and trim sorting.
Would love to go for it but too scared. :-(

Hi Neil

If it has had a full rebuild not just top end you could have a decent car, you need to check the seals as they rot behind the plates also behind the seats maybe get it checked over fully and take it from there, as it is an SS it will be a later car than mine which is a 1975 car. Worth following up and checking history fully beforehand though as with all classics you never know everything until you buy it.

Good Luck and worth a look at least.

Thanks Pete
I would really like one but am not sure I can put enough into it to be able to do it justice.
Such nice cars though!

Pete: I have to say that is one beautiful investment. Pristine condition and does you proud.
How will you live with it though? I couldn't ever leave that out of my view, not for one minute. So will you use it on limited days in the year and to specific events or what? What is the insurance quote on something like that?
You are a lucky man.
