Just got the same email...rather embarrassing as it came into my works email just as I was presenting a power point on budget cuts...and my outlook flashes the email in the top left of the screen.

To be fair it is only a face lifted 458 as Ferrari are keen to point out. However, there will be quite a few Speciale owners and those with outstanding orders that are pretty ****** off as it's way better by the looks of things.

When people connect their laptops up to a screen I always like a scan of what shortcuts they have on their desktops - can be very revealing!

I forwarded the link to a mate who has a 458 spyder ( or whatever they call the version with the folding roof ).
I have an open offer to borrow the car for an afternoon but I've resisted as I know the GS will never feel the same again.

Interesting the e-mail I got from Graypaul said the car was available to order now. Makes you wonder if they will easier to get hold of than previous models?

It's going to be £200k or more with spec. What amazes is how much extra most people put on a 458 - £50k is not uncommon.

The point I was making is that in the past you would ring up to be told you were year 3 or 4 on the list but the e-mail implied it was not as hot as that. Might be over-reading it mind. Anyway I will not be buying one - out of my price bracket.
